How germ-phobic are you?

I usually pull out enough paper towels before I wash my hands and then use the towels to dry my hands and then turn off the water and pull open the door with them before I throw it away.

I do this also.

I use my foot to flush the toilet. I do not hold the rail on the escalator, I try not to touch anything I don't have to in public places, but of course this gets difficult some times, so I carry hand sanitizer with me at all times.

my job is suck a dirty job, where i end up coverd in dirt.im a carpinter/ joiner.. i remeber this one time i was working in a students house and i was moveing a kitchen unit, and it slipped out my hands due to the emount of grease ! it was like 5ml thinck. and my feet were sticking to the floor, it was pritty horible.

so...... NO

Will you touch the door handle after you've washed your hands, leaving a public washroom? Or do you get a hand towel to cover the handle with?

Do you hold the escalator rail or will you not touch it? The Gas pump?

I'm pretty squeamish, the less I think about it, the better. But when leaving a public building I'll find myself debating whether to touch the part you're supposed to touch, thinking it may get washed from time to time, or try to push a spot on the door that no one may have touched already.. this gets awkward sometimes lol.

And I can't stand having to use someone else's keyboard.. ugg! Must wash hands.

Yup - still OCD over here.

you know, after youve worked in a hospital and had blood all over your hands, seen real paracites like the cute little worms that were (visibly) eating their way up a womans legs via her nerves...which happened to lay thier eggs in faeces and of course, the woman was covered in feces...you tend to understand that the bugs that you get from door handles really arent worth thinking about beyone simple aseptic principles (ie if your hands are dirty, the do not touch your face, your eyes, wounds, food, or food utensils)

now. before i start looking around for jack nicholson and a big pile of soap bars, lets move on, and talk about spider lint ;)
