I am curious how most of you plan your training goals. Do you plan you goals based around your current cycle always. For instance, on this cycle I plan to gain x number of pounds of muscle. In order to do this I plan to do this, this and this. What happens when you are off cycle? Do you set another set of goals? What I am getting at is do you set weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly goals with your training. If you are setting your goals to far in the horizon it is easy to fall off track. Since I have changed the way I look at my goals and have broken them down to a more manageable level I have seen better results. Just curious as to what others do?
