How do you guys train while "off".....

I posted this one a while back but got no replies. I was curious how all of you train during your "off time"? Do you cut your sets back, intensity, increase your rest periods? I was told by a pro BB to train heavier with let sets and intensity - any opinions???????

The first month or so cut back on your sets, train hard and heavy. approx. 4-6 reps to maintain the muscles. Take a couple extra days off because your body doesn't recuppurate as fast as while on. After a while train as hard and often as you can.

off what?

off what? jesus what the fuck do you think? think about it for about 2 seconds:rolleyes:

i was thinking about not lifting while off actually. if i am taking absolutely nothing it does feel like a waste. i am going to try to atleast bridge between cycles so i can still lift. i also lift while off just to get ready for a cycle

if it's my off day, then that means just exactly that. I basically lie around the house watch tv, read, mess with my new comp. software or take a nap. There's no point going to the gym when your body is saying "Hey I need Some Rest, Take A Day Off".

its pretty obvious what he means, for what its worth i've only done 1 cycle, whilst i was on i increased the amount of sets i performed by about 50%, so where i would normally do 6 sets for chest i was now doing 9, this is very general though and was not always the case due to other factors.

I'm "off" more than "on" so dropping intensity is not an option...Gains need to keep coming even without juice.
