how do you guys run!?

the day after legs do light cardio, like walking or ride the bike with little resistance, for about 40 minutes and stretch yourself out. It always makes me feel better the next day. I play football and they have us run and do legs on the same day sometimes. The next day my legs feel like shit but I do light cardio and strecth and usually feel better.

I'm usually able to run fine the day after doing legs provided I get a good night sleep. Also, I've actually had good cardio running workouts right after working legs (excluding calves).

I keep my leg workouts simple, but intense...I only do squats and hamstring curls for upper legs.

I can't run after doing calves, though, or even the day after.

MY VIEW OF LIFE IS, STRIKE A BALANCE. I'LL NEVER BE A STAR RUNNER OR COMPETITIVE WEIGHTLIFTER, SIMPLY BECAUSE I LIKE TO STRIKE THIS BALANCE...BUT I'LL KICK THE SHIT OUT OF STAR RUNNERS IN ANY STRENGTH EVENT, AND I'LL KICK THE SHIT OUT OF STAR WEIGHTLIFTERS IN ANY RUNNING EVENT!

:lmao:

Funny guy...

Just keep doing it.

If you stretch out before and after, warm up, and warm down, that'll reduce the pain you feel the next morning

It's gonna hurt the after the first day. Take it a little slower, but keep running even though it hurts. After about 3 days of that, it won't hurt much anymore
