stevesmi Head Mod Elite Moderator Apr 27, 2019 #4 if you a new to training start with the 101 basics.. stick to the main 5-10 lifts. compound lifts in a 5-8 rep range you should not be one of those guys who stands in the mirror doing curls for 30 minutes.

The bread and butter exercises like bb presses, rows, squats, deadlifts etc should be your core exercises. You can add other exercises in but thoseshpuld be your main focus
