I started a carnivore diet and it's a lot of red meat, chicken, and eggs. I'm wondering what is a good way to get more fiber in my diet. Do you think I should take some psyllium husk or do you think I should take fiber supplements?
Everybody is going to be a little bit different when it comes to how much fiber they require. Ideally though, you want to get most of your fiber from your food so make sure you are eating your fruits and veggies.
Bros, why don't you try 10 to 15 g per day and then you can go from there? Some people go higher. If you're a big bodybuilder eating lots of protein, you may want to push it to 40 or 50 g.
A good trick with psyllium husk is to stagger it throughout the day. Maybe try to eat it with your meals, especially if you're going high protein. That will help your fiber intake go up.
