Our wedding bands - both sterling silver, very unique and well under 50$ a pop.

Mine is a fairy much like the tatt I have on my hip of me and my girls. His is a dragon, very masculine and sorta matches mine.

Our entire wedding including rings, decorations cost us under 200$. Those in attendance brought the food an drinks. Was by far, the most fun we have all had in a very long time.

Spend as much or as little as you want to. Whatever makes you happy, and her happy. What is "right" for one couple, may not be right for another.

People can debate all day long about how "money doesn't equal happinness" or "big ring does not equal happy marriage" ..... well, DUH. I think most of us (adults) here know that.

My ring was a few thousand, and I love it. But I love my husband more, and I love being married more. I am not ashamed to say that I love my ring. But I also am not so blind or naive that I think that my ring is more important than a happy, healthy relationship. My marriage (and daughter) is what makes me happy at the end of the day, not my ring.
