It depends on what my goal is. If I am training for hypertrophy, I will utilize something similar to a 402 cadence (4down, no pause, 2 up). If I am training more for power, I'll lower the bar for approximately 2 seconds then push as quickly and as powerfully as I can on the concentric phase.
