how do you do pullovers?

i read this description on a page but it made no sense to me. can anyone explain it please...!
 
pullovers are where you take a barbell and lay on a bench that has no uprights. lift the bar over your head and slowly lower the bar back over your head and towards the ground. pull the bar back over your head and towards mid-chest
 
it is easier if you use one dumbel insteadof a barbell. take the weight with both hand and let it go behind your head untill full stretch and under control and then reverse direction untill the weight is directly above your chest, your arms should be at full extension with very little bend at the elbow, this will create a circular motion where the lats will be forced to contract to move the weight.

I found DB much more comfortable and effective than BB. BB hurt my elbows. Even with a slight bend. DB doesn't.
