How did you get HIV+?

HIV is prmarily spread through male to female and male to male contact when seamon sprays on abraised tissue. Period.
Why are people stating that AIDDS cases among women is on the rise and thinking that that is building the case that women transmit it to men ? Several of you have done this?
Most men who say that they got AIDS from a woman are lying.

to all HIV infected bros out there...

hang in there.
talk to your doc about deca and/or sustanon.

wish you the best.

Well , I do not have HIV but a very good friend of mine has HIV and the way he contracted it was from Heterosexual Sex, yes that is right guys you can get it from a chick, he did. It was also his only time having unprotected sex with her. She knew and never said anything. She did not take care of herself and she passed away, he takes care of himself and is doing great and he is not even detectable and this is after 6 years.

She knew and never told him!
What a bitch
Good shes dead

"- If this is true than he should be published in the JAMA. Chances of a single episode of unprotected sex transmitting HIV from female to male are less than 1/10,000.

No offense, but I would suggest your friend is not being 100% truthful."

GUESS WHAT HE MIGHT HAVE BEEN ONE OF THE 1 IN 10000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Being a biochemist, I know a little bit about virology... allow me to just briefly weigh in on the subject here.

Regarding the transmission efficiency from females to males and vice-versa, the male semen contains a number of T lymphocytes which are the hotbeds of a nascent HIV infection. Infectivity of HIV (patient-to-patient spread, tht is) is GREATLY increased when an infected T lymphocyte is passed on to the recipient rather than just free virus particles - this is simply an artifact of the T lymphocyte's protection of the virus from the harsh external environment (when commandeered, the normally very effective T cell becomes a kitten instead of a tiger), as well as its role in sustaining the virus until it can be spread to the recipient. There are T lymphocytes present in VERY low amounts in the vaginal mucosa, whereas male semen contains a comparatively higher amount of T cells. Also, since the male semen may be spread over a MUCH larger surface area (vagina, cervix, endometrium, fallopian tubes) than the female vaginal mucous (glans penis, shaft, base), the transmission from male to female is inherently more effective.

Just thought this might clear things up for some of those who are fighting over something that really doesn't need to be pissing anyone off.

Wow,some great information on this site. I have been pos. for about 8 yrs now, always undetectable, guess I am lucky. Dating is the hard part for me......when to tell someone and all. I have been hitting the gym for about 3 years with good results, I have always been thin so I am mostly lean muscle, I am starting to take creatine and hoping I can get some gains in strenght and size. I am about 5'11' and weigh 160. Anyone know if having HIV and being undetectable will hinder my gains ??? My doc. says it won't because the virus isn't coming into play at this point.
