How can EQ cause anxiety over other aas? I dont believe it...

There have been a lot of posts lately stating that EQ had made people take anxiety attacks, and that paranoia gets out of control.

What the hell does EQ have in it that would do this? Compared to test, or Deca, Fina or Dbol? Is there some magical drug that goes into this that makes you paranoid? Is it because of vet ingredients? I just dont buy it that EQ causes anxiety. Steroids are not mind altering drugs. Maybe this is somehow a by-product of this, but I cant see how people pin this on EQ and not AAS altogether. Also how do people know that it is the EQ when they are usually stacking this with at least 2 other types of gear?

Anyways, maybe there is some scientific explanation behind this, that makes EQ cause anxiety over other types of gear. If so I would be very curious to see or here this.

Cheers,
Mavy

id like to know this also. it dont really make since.
i heard to get these sides though, you have to use a good amount of eq, like 800mgs a week or above. im on 400mgs a week eq, and feel great.

Me too, I have used EQ twice and have never felt anything like this. I have never went above 600 mgs though. I think that the people taking these attacks have had these before taking EQ. Maybe its something from increased BP? But that wouldnt narrow it down to EQ. Dbol increases BP far more than EQ.

Anyways, I am starting my first cycle tomorrow and I will be frontlaoding with 800 mgs of EQ. Not really worried about it. I really think that a lot of that type of thing is just a mental thing that gets inside of people's heads when they are on.

Easy, Eq causes anxiety through a commonly known pathway called the "placebo effect". Get enough people talking about it, and sure enough, others begin to notice it on themselves.

Halucinations on Clomid is one of my personal favorites.

You guys are all way off base. Different people will get different sides, no doubt. But steroids do have mind and mood altering effects. How? Hormones influence neurotransmitter levels in the brain. Testosterone and its derivatives have a very well established positive correlation with dopamine. When dopamine levels are influenced, this effects neurotransmitter "balance". High dopamine can lead to aggressiveness, anxiety, paranoia, rapid heartbeat, etc. The other factor do not forget that hormone levels (and neurotransmitter levels) normally follow certain circadian patterns. However steroid dosing will disrupt this pattern.

Why do some steroids like d-bol and anadrol seem to contribute to the occurance of insomnia?

Why is halo noted for it's ability to increase aggression while so many testosterone users report an exagerated sense of well being?

Punt may have very well nailed it when he brough up the placebo effect. The truth, however, is that, untill we can acumulate real clinical tests on althletes using the type and dosages of steroids that we use, we simply cannot be sure of the psychological effects of the drugs.

Look up my recent post and my experience with EQ and anxiety. I had heard many people say EQ caused anxiety in them. I took it, and believe me, the anxiety I felt was real. Was it CAUSED by the drug? I don't know. It very well could have been the placebo effect.

Many people take EQ and don't feel an incresed anxiety. Others do. Big deal. In and of itself this means nothing. Lithium is a wonder drug for some people. For others, it makes demons fly out of bloody cracks in the melting walls of blood.

Different drugs, different people, different effects, etc., etc.
