To all-

I have been on Test replacement for a couple of years due to an unknown issue, and I am taking 200 MG IM once a week. My question is: Will I maintain a higher serum testosterone level with 2 100 MG shots per week, or one 200 MG shot once a week?

Also, I was prescribed HCG when I came off Test so my wife and I could have a child. Is this of any value to overall hormone levels if I have gone back on Test?

more frequent shots correlates to more STABLE serum testosterone levels, meaning less spikes.... not so much "higher" serum levels

as for the H C G, the theory behind taking it even while on HRT is to maintain the functionality (whatever is left of it) of your testes (particularly in the case of wanting to have children some day)... of course, it also has its cosmetic purpose (prevent testicular shrinkage)

So if you were interested in the highest return from a lean muscle mass perspective, would you break it up, or do you think the spikes are more beneficial for that purpose?

How frequently, and how much HCG would you add? I was taking 3000 units every other day, which is a very expensive proposition, but I had terminated the use of test once I started the HCG.

better of with two shots. It keeps blood levels and serum test levels more balanced.

No, you don't want any spiking of test levels... stable serum levels are best especially since you'd FEEL best that way.

WAY too much H C G! There really isn't an established "protocol" for how much H C G you should run, weither it's for P C T or for HRT. If you're using it long-term, a very small dosage (on the order of 200-500iu) every 3-4 days is probably a good starting point. I say this because first of all, its half life of H C G is around 3-4 days, so you want any resulting estrogen spiking to be minimal. Plus, PubMed I believe has some studies that says 200-500iu significantly increases testosterone levels in men, so 3000iu would be way overkill. You can do a search for Dr. John Crysler (I belive that's his name), he's published some papers about this whole topic and I know he has a recommended dose for it.

typical HCG protocol with test cyp is 1 shot test per week (e.g., Sun). Then you do HCG 2X/wk on the two days before your next test shot. So that would be Fri HCG (250IU), and then Sat HCG (250IU).

With test and HCG, you've got two compounds that aromatize, and to keep bloat down, you will likely want to take an AI. One standard AI protocol is a-dex at 0.25mg EOD.

Thanks for all of the good information. 300 IU of HCG every four days at 10,000 units per bottle should keep in me in good supply for some time, which is nice because it's not in any way cheep. I don't have access to A-Dex, but I do have a running prescription for Tamoxifen. I believe I have read studies that say Tamoxifen is far inferior to A-Dex, but it's something to counter any aromitizing (is that even a word ) that the test or HCG might cause.

One last question.....How much Tamoxifen should I be taking daily to counter act aromatizing effects of HCG at 300 IU every four days, and 100 MG of test every three days?

Sorry, just wanted to bump this back up to see what dose of Tamoxifen is best for 100 MG test every five days, with 300 IU of HCG every four days. Would 20 MG twice daily do that trick?

I don't know that tamoxifen is a suitable substitution for an aromatase inhibitor in order to keep estrogen down. You should do some more research on that.

I'd sooner use a more natural, OTC anti-estrogen like Sustain before using tamoxifen
