Ya know, you sometimes can't tell when your overtrained until you take a little time off and rest.
I took a week off training as a scheduled layoff in prep for my compitition in november. I was nervous that I would lose size with that long off, but DAMN.
I came back yesteday, full of power, and the pump was so extreme, ( just from bench pr, behind neck pr, dmbl side lat, and french pr), that I thought my skin was really going to rip if I flexed too hard. Just goes to show, that sometimes the best way to grow, is to limit training, and emphasize recuperation. O and by the way, my arms ( my weak spot) put on a quarter of an inch just from letting them catch up to the training I already did.
Now I am ready to destroy any iron in my path, feels great to be back in the trenches. How many of you have experienced this before?
Keep pumping! E
