Holy SH*T Importance of water while cutting.

I always tell whoever asks me for any type of health related advice - drink water!!! even if they think enough, drink more! I even bug my own training partner too as well.

Good to see this. Makes me glad that I've been drinking 2 gallons a day for the last 3 months. I thought that I was losing weight because I kept running to the bathroom.

I'm going to sell tap water in bottles with this label :

"Weight loss guaranteed, scientifically proven"

:supercool

Good post.

I drink about 1 - 1.25 gallons a day. I dunno how you guys can drink more. Not that I dont want to, but going to the bathroom 15-20 times a day is enough. Dont wanna be going 25-30times.

Umm, ok...
Increasing protein by significant amount would yield roughly the same results. Working out in freezing cold will 'melt' you. But let's not forget of the body's adaptogenic system - the metabolic advantage will only carry you so far :o

Do you mean that eventually your body will get used to drinking more water than usual and the effect will diminish? Like fat burners..

But I don't think cycling your water intake is an option :)

I belive it is a possiblity although I cant be sure (Trying to find full study..harder than I thought)

However..40% of that thremogenisis was raising water to proper temp to which the body will not adapt, giving you >10% raise in metabolism.

Calm down guys :)

Even though it looks promising, there is certainly a limit above which drinking more water will not lead to any more "burning effect"

..... not sure it is very clear :worried:

For some of us who already drink a lot of water, drinking even more water will not be useless (or even bad for our electrolytes)
