Artest went after the wrong guy. That dude and the guy S Jackson cold cocked will win a lawsuit. They did nothing to warrent a beat down.

I guess Artest shouldn't have gone in the crowd. But in his defense just minutes before he was hit by that cup, he was almost in a fight with Ben Wallace, who pushed him in the face. So he was already fired up and trying to calm down on the announcers bench. He actually had headphones on if I'm not mistaken, talking to an announcer. It wasn't a very good time for that idiot fan to be throwing a cup at artest.

Precisely my point, NiggaNature.......

I'm not justifying Artest's behaviour, but I can understand why he did it.

If I was a player I wouldn't appreciate fans throwing shit on the court, regardless if he fouled Ben Wallace or not........what happens on the court stays on the court, the fans shouldn't be anything but spectators.

We had a bench clearing brawl at the USC and Clemson football game today. Luckily it didn't involve any fans, just the two teams acting like assholes. The way they disrespected the state troopers who were trying to keep order was embarrassing.
