Hoe much do YOU pay for car insurance

Wow, $1400 is alot of dough. I could probably get a cheaper rate but USAA are pretty good peeps and they do alot more than just Auto.

Ummmmmmm...Im with Geico right now (since last November) and Im paying $1400 for a 6 month policy. I was uninsured for a period of time which I know raises my rates and I also have had at least one speeding ticket within the last 5 years.

Im shopping around right now for a more reasonable rate because this is fucking booooosheeeet

The speeding ticket shouldn't raise it that much, but I know being uninsured for a while hurts quite a bit. $1400 does seem really high though... what kind of car do you drive?

I got a quote from Geico that dropped my rates to $434 for 6 months (saving me about $250)... I have yet to switch though.

I am with progressive - they are really a good/cheap insurer for us HIGH RISK drivers.

Approx $400 a Year for Uber State Farm coverage, $200 deduct, towing, uninsured motorist, rental, yada yada etc on a 2002 Nissan.

I've had the same company and policy # since 1978

I was uninsured for 3-4 years when I first moved to Cali. I sold my car and my ex-gf had two so I just went on her policy.

$780 (but i pay monthly) - I have crazy coverage - more than need.

I used to be with State Farm and that was roughly $1200 every 6 months. I stayed with them for years (I'm an idiot) because my parent had been with them for 30+ years and I figured, eh they never had a problem. Then I found out how much less I could be paying so I said see ya and went to Allstate.

I've been with State Farm ever since I started driving at 15(so 14 years) and haven't ever looked anywhere else. I pay $110/month which includes renter's insurance. I figure I could pay a lot less with another company, but every year State Farm sends me these festive address labels so I have a hard time leaving them. Also I think one year they sent me a check for $100 just because they had a good year and didn't have to pay out as much as they had planned.
