Has anyone tried the High Intensity Training book that is offered by mens health. It sounds pretty good, only one set of each exercise and out of the gym in 30 minutes.

I have "The New High Intensity Training" by Ellington Darden. It it is good book and the philosophy behind the training makes sense, theoretically. I only tried it for a short time before I began training with a guy who was in to volume training, so I haven't given it a fair shot. I did see good strength gains from it but do not know if it is good in the long run. One negative aspect of it is it requires training to absoloute faluire, sometimes even negative, and requires a training partner to spot you. The book references many pro's who use HIT and has some good routines. I currently have a thread going to find out from other members who have used HIT before to get their opinion on it, I will let you know what I find.
