HIIT and HIT

HIT doesnt allow that.....you cant run at 100% max intensity for 20 minutes at a time....unless you are an Olympic atlhete...

That is what I thought. I assumed HIIT was better for increasing CV/respiratory endurance.

But I could see HIT allowing for more muscular endurance - longer duration at high intensity.
 
Its probably not going to be 100%, i.e. everything you can give like you would in a sprint, but more of a higher speed run than a jog.

I guess you can track your cals on the treadmill......


Personally...I dont see the advantage of HIT.....


you can use HIIT to build the all out interval time....


dunno....I might try it tady at the gym



with HIIT I average 22.5-23.5 cals burned per minute
