i went heavyish last night and wasnt fealling to great with anything over 440lbs so i dropped the weight and hit 3 sets of 15 with 315, that was basically cardio!

This is the way I look at it. Volume is king.
315x45 reps is a fuck load more volume then 440 for 1 so I've been training in the higher rep ranges on deads and my lats are exploding

i like to use both low reps and high reps, in the past i have foind my back grows well with any rep rane, its just a geneting strength. i actually deadlift on my 2nd leg day lf the week wich is a ham dominant day and i do rack pull of back day.
Why? 15? It would serve you better doing 495x5's. I can only imagine the form on a 15 rep set of deads. DLs are founded in technique. Sloppy sets will get you in serious trouble. And I hope you let each rep die, resetting and pulling anew each rep.

Forms integrated in my brain doesn't matter about the rep range. One of the best deadlifters In the world follows a high rep dead lifting scheme peaking up to a max but goes from 20 reps onwards. 500x5 is less volume then 315x15 just something different I'm trying
If you're training with intensity, your form will eventually change from the first rep to the last. Also, make sure to see what this dead lifters cycle looks like. And diet. And rest. Etc.
