High fructose corn syrup

i'm so depressed....the first ingredient in my beloved honey mustard is high fructose corn syrup.

i looked at the ingredients on a can of diced tomatoes i had in my pantry at home - they spanned about two inches down the can...for TOMATOES. one of the top ingredients....high fructose corn syrup.

didn't realize it was one of the top ingredients in lite mayo either...

it's everywhere!!!

I think they add it to mayo, b/c they take the fat out.

If you make your own Honey Mustard, you can put in it, whatever you want.

they do that with lots of stuff - remove the fat and add corn syrup and sell it to people as a "healthy alternative"

i just found it in my fajita marinade too - this marinade is the best....or WAS the best.

its even is most WHOLE WHEAT bread...i moved away a few months ago and the stores areound here have nothing but crappy bread, so no more pbj sandwiches till i find a decent bread.

what? i didn't even look there. i buy whole wheat pitas...i'll have to check that out.

i'm trying not to buy anything without reading the labels first.

Stay away from HFCS

the only bread i have found w/o it is VOGELS whole wheat...its by far the best tasting bread ever had.. less then 1g sugar too per slice...and like 6g proten

i went to whole foods last night and bought honey mustard with no high fructose corn syrup and mayo with no hydrogenated oils or corn syrups.

now if i could only find pitas....

might want to check the health food store if you have one near you. local shops usually dont have much for us.

OMG

It's in Kellogs ALL-BRAN... I read the article went and checked and its in ALL-BRAN, I love how the front of the box says sweetend with Nutrasweet.....
