Hi Ladies!!
I'm new around here, just wanted to say a quick hello!!! Here's a little about me:
My name is Rosanne Clemente, I'm a 29 year old NPC National Level Figure Competitor. My fitness journey began shortly after college.
My contest preps are drastic to say the least. My genetics work against me as far as my difficulty in achieving and maintaining such a low body fat level (in order to be stage ready). I have to work extra hard to attain my goals which has made me appreciate the sport of figure in a way that many other competitors might take for granted. However, after 4 dramatic seasons full of determination and success, I'm currently taking a break from the stage and am on a quest to find a level of optimum health and wellness. I have achieved a level of balance in my life and have been exploring different types of athletic activity in order to maintain a lean, healthy, attractive physique.
I'm on a hiatus from my own career on stage, though I still I enjoy training and prepping athletes. I will stop to answer any question, help with any inquiry, and explain any theory, for no other reason aside from the fact that I want everyone to feel the indescribable feeling of success when they attain their goals...the same satisfaction that I feel when lighting up a stage. I hope that if I have a question, you guys will also help me out!

Aside from my bids as a figure competitor, I keep busy as a published author and am a research assistant and editor for yet another author.

I am employed full-time as a Search Engine Marketing/Optimization Specialist, although with this many opportunities in the fitness industry opening up for me -as they have lately - I may/should soon have the opportunity to make my passion my full-time job.
I've also worked as a fitness model
; spokeswoman for various companies, motivational speaker, and am currently working on a nationwide campaign to keep athletic performance enhancing drugs out of high schools and the hands of the youth. I also work as a Personal Trainer, Coach, Healthy Lifestyle and Weight Management Counselor. I recently worked with a male bodybuilder to coach, train and manage a team of 8 figure competitors - -that was one of the most fun, rewarding experiences of my life. My "girls" are my life, pride and joy!!!!
Along with my Bachelor of Arts and Sciences degree in Sports Medicine and Athletic Training, my personal life experiences have enabled me to acquire some knowledge about health and fitness, although nowhere near the amount I wish I had!
(I'll never stop learning!)
I have developed a true love and passion for fitness through my competitive experience and work with clients. I've always felt that anyone can diet, chart their progress, or lift all the weights in the world, but there’s no recipe, no exercise to build a strong heart. This is why I do the things I do, and why I am so dedicated to physical culture, I think.
I was born with the will and the want to make it and to help everyone around me make it there with me. I love to share my story and use it to guide anyone who wants to attain any personal goal, from losing post baby weight, getting ready for her wedding, obtaining balance of health and wellness, detoxifying their body to competing in my sport.
I also love to hear other people's stories and goals!
Thorough years of research, trial and error, I feel the torch has been passed down to me and now its my responsibility to share my knowledge and what I've learned with anyone who desires. None of this means I know it all, or that I can't learn...I love learning, and hope to learn a lot from you ladies here! I especially love reading all of the logs! I've always felt that anyone who loves to teach and share their own experience should also love to learn and share in others experiences.
I have lots of quirky little things that motivate me (I have lots of quirky little things about me, period. Its part of my "charm" teehee.) My main motivation are those who doubt me. I use their negative words to fuel me on the days that I just can't seem to muster up energy or self-motivation. If someone tells me that I can't accomplish my goals, I make it my priority to prove them wrong!
Every time my name gets called out when I place, that's for each and every person who told me I couldn't do it.
I'm also fiercely loyal, and not only do I represent my own name, I represent my coaches, trainers and sponsors. I will NOT let myself let them down. On days that it is difficult for me to motivate myself, I remember those whom I am representing and it gets me through. You too can be successful and attain anything you set your mind to. Its just a matter of retraining your thoughts, putting in the time and energy and believing in yourself!
Wow...I hope you guys actually read all of that, and I hope to read as much or more about you all too! Anyway, to wrap it up for you beautiful ladies, if you want to see pictures or interviews I've done, here's some links...I hope to get to know the ladies here, and to contribute!

“Figure Competitor Rosanne Clemente - A Rising Star - Clemente is truly a dynamic personality and sure to continue in her successful bids as a Figure competitor. Great sense of humor and intensely dedicated. She was 165 pounds at 5' 3" and 16 weeks out and came in at 118 pounds and spot-on conditioning to win the New Jersey State Figure Championship Medium Class! Wow that's a lot of weight to lose in a short period of time. Clemente discusses the challenges of living at home while preparing for a competition, favorite and least favorite body parts and what type of men fare well with a serious female competitor” –Carl Lenore, host Super Human Radio
