Ive had this surgery twice, once on each shoulder. Had 9 millimeters cut off each distal end of clavicle for osteolysis. That was in 2002-03. Your arm is in a sling for about a week, then you slowly get some movement in the joint, then you slowly lift baby weights, etc etc. Its like any other surgery, you gotta take the time to recover and dont try any shortcuts and do what your doctor says and youll be ok. If I can remember I was back to 100% in the gym in 5 or 6 months. But if you arent lifting really heavy weights and mainly focus on cardio you could be sooner.
