What are the advised lengths of use for HGH? Especially in conjunction with AAS say I run a 12 week test cycle would my HGH course run alongside it and continue with on during PCT?

6 months is optimal yes but you can still get good results on it for 2-3 months

I'm with Steve. Everything I've read and seen (never having used it myself) says you can see benefits in 2-3 months. The main issue with longer cycles which stops most people is the cost

HGH is the type of thing that you need to run for a long period of time to really benefit from.

I would run it for a minimum of 3 months

I would say 6 months should be a minimum. Sure, you can run it 3 months but you will see the real benefits when you run it long term.
