I have no love for Rosie but I do support her right to free speech regardless of whether I agree with her statements or not. Having said that, I must disagree with the bolded portion of your statement. Unless the soldiers were drafted, they most certainly DID have a choice. When one joins the armed forces they know the risks.

...and I do appreciate those servicemen/women that have sacrificed for MY RIGHTS regardless of how they have been violated.

Dont say that they didn't have a choice though. Iraq aint Vietnam.

Lets keep it real.
 
i agree with razorguns, in my opinion, ever since she stopped hosting a daytime jay leno show, she dont care who she pisses off
and i used to LOVE watching her show
 
well guys you have to remember that these days war is business. there is no draft. not like the old days when the guy next to you at your 9-5 could go fight for humanity's or sort of.all the soldiers there are there cuz they signed up to make war there career. altho alot of folks like to give them credit for risking their lives for our freedom. i would rather have them work for their paycheck like me rather than get a free ride on my buck...i would go but, i cant, govvy wont let me, too violent haha. but think about this 200000 people die everyday just living going to work or whatever. 1-2 people (our troops) die in iraq a day. i can live withthose #'s

but when you send boyscouts to fight a war you cant win. IMO if you look at the past the only way worlds were conquered. is when the troops killed/raped/pilleged on everybody who moves. look at the american indians in our case. we lost vietnam and we are losing iraq for this reason.
 
Rosie went downhill since she came out of the closet. she became that dyke bitch nobody likes. yes freedom of speech is a good thing but shes making herself look like an ass more and more each day.
 
I saw some deranged folks in my short stint in the marines. I think guys that enlist and sign up for infantry.... well I think many of them are hoping they get to kill.... and rape women and stuff like that.

Well she raised 50 million $ towards children’s charities and gave away over 25 million of her own money, again, to children’s charities.
I bet most of you cannot say you help any causes....

As I said before - whether I agree with her statements or not I support her right to free speech. It is up to me whether or not I am influenced by her words, as is up to every one that either reads or hears anyone else's words.

Unless her words proliferate hate, I really have no feeling one way or the other.

I have a mind of my own and can use it quite well. LOL

There is no person that is "all good" or "all bad".... well except for Hitler and Jesus Christ perhaps. Her actions seem to be provocative, maybe good, maybe bad. It is all about perception, I suppose.

Well she never reported it. I saw it on a biography on her. She never talks about the money she gives away....she is humble!

I some of their fight on youtube (all I could stand) and Liz's response definately sounded canned. She was just repeating a catch phrase.

i think he wasnt insulting the fortitude of the soldiers so much as the modern day mentality of how far soldiers go.

like compared to the olden day soldiers who completely fucked everyone who wasnt on their side up (like before the civilian acts and shit, and before it was a big deal to rape and burn entire villages), now adays seem like boyscouts compared to that

yeah by boyscouts i mean, not everyone can go. like me for instance a perfect canidate (spelling). but cuz i have a record i cant go. alot of screening going on. i just think b4 wars were won by good peeps that had to do bad things. now they want they send guys that are sqeeky clean and not prepared to do what needs to be done.

the thing is she acts as if we invaded another country without permision. Im pretty sure there were a huge group of iraqies that wanted freedom for themselves but could not do it alone. yes we went there under false pretenses about WMD's but we didnt just go there uninvited. but now it seems Bush doesnt want to do what his Daddy did and pull troops out and watch iraq fall back to the regime it had before we went there. im all for bringing every soldier back right now. i went there right at the beginning after sep 11th and i thought we were there for a completely different reason.
