lol, I've never been to 'the vu' but I have been to scarletts a looong time ago. To be honest I've never been a bog fan of titty clubs. Never understood paying for something I could get for free. Shit, they should have been paying me for looking at them.

UA has gotten fucking obnoxious as hell. Always crowded, assholes not reracking their weight. Dudes thinking they are much bigger then they really are. Just a whole lot of poor gym ediquite all around. I actually just bought a member ship at a small gym about 2 blocks away from me and another new one on sylvania that's open 24hrs. So you plan on staying in cbus?
 
well, i'm going to finish up a degree, then try and move to new york or cali to pursue a film career.
it's all i've ever wanted. I just hope I don't end up living in a van for a few years before I make it! lolololol

yeah dude, I kind of thought UA would get like that. Did you know that when I cancelled my membership and moved, they STILL billed me without me knowing and are still trying to say that I owe them like 400-500 bucks. Fuck those cocksuckers and their contracts.

Well hopefully you won't have to live in a van but I do see a waiter job in your future. Pretty fucking sweet that you're pursuing your dream though, I commend that.

Fuck gym contracts! I lucked out with them and got some special 1 day offer for select members. I'm month to month only paying a locked in fee of 20 bucks so it's going to be real tough for me to ever cancel that.

Well let me know next time you're ever back in town, we'll grab a drink or spot each other on squats or some shit 

Everyone should have a couple of grand in a safe...what happens if the power goes out for an extended period and there are no banks open and interac machines and ATMs no longer function? It can happen...I know this because it happened here during a massive ice storm; our area was basically shut right down for a full week. Some areas went nearly two weeks before power was restored. In that situation, you need cash to get food...cash to get people to clear the felled trees from your driveway...cash for gas for your generator. Anyone who didn't have some cash stashed around the house was shit outta luck.

My money is Canadian dollars...and they are rock solid. If I were an American I'd definitely have a few ounces of gold in case of a currency collapse tho.

At close to $1400/ounce (current) gold just isn't viable for a situation like that. So you've got a lot of gold, how are you going to make change if you want to use it to purchase something? I think it can be a reasonable investment to hedge inflation, but for what you described silver eagles would be far better for barter/buying.

People like to discuss their hobbies and interests, not exactly rocket science. I like when people say, "you were jacked 4-5 years ago when you were on roids, but I bet you're fat now!". Ok, when I was jacked 4-5 years ago was I spamming the board with half naked photos? No, I wasn't, so why would I be doing that now?
