Hey Everyone...Need your input......

As you might know...I have a team at my work that is raising money for the Cancer Society in honor of Shadow's mom....The team is for Relay for life....ANYWAY......

We are going to have people sign up to cycle (spin Cycles) for an hour on a continual basis..BUT how can we can get people to donate money?

Maybe have some kind of sign that people can fill out individually and post it in the gym for all to see - to donate in a loved one's name?

People feel good when they can do that.

They don't necessarily need to KNOW someone either, they can donate in their own name too - just because they support the cause.

Call the local bicycle shops and ask if you can post a flyer in their store or something like that because cyclists are always peddaling and could probably help with the fundraiser.

If there's a cycling team local then they may want to trade advertisement for spinning....something like: "You let us wear our team jerseys for advertisement and we'll help you raise money."

Okay we are going to have people to sign up to ride hourly...as a sign of conituing Love..Hope and Support

The people who donate and ride for a few min. in honor of a loved one or friend

They will also get to place the name of thier person on a special board and we will be taking that to the relay so they will be honored!

Again, a sign in the gym.

Talk to the local GNC and healthfood stores, especially family owned, they will usually donate.

On the board here. I am sure people will donate here, I know I will.

It also seems that when people have a sticker or a small individual sign such as McDonald's house and whatnot, they will donate.

My company will make a donation. My Grandfather who is my everything passed away in 98 of lung cancer. I can not help NOT to donate.

I can make an appeal on AF for a donation as well. I don't know what that can do, but I can ask. Let me think tonight and Maybe I can come up with something in the morning after work.

Good info Curgeo.....If you want to donate...I will get to you in a PM and we can set something up! That goes for anyone! It is such a important event....Oh and you can even come walk with us for an hour!
