hey bros, should i bulk or cut?

yeah, sorry BigD83, didn't meant to jack your thread and turn it into a bitchfest. If anyone has some more suggestions for this dude, post up.

your stats sound like my friend who was 6'2" 160 and about 7% bodyfat naturally, I would have your BF % checked by a professional or experienced friend. if you really are at 12% then diet down. I always feel you should be at 10% or less before you start a bulk. but you might find you are already there.

hey bros, thanx for the reply, i really am confused on my bf %. i just a have lil stuburn fat around my lower abs, my waist is 31 inchs. i used a calculation in a book to figure out my body fat. i don't know im really confused on whether to bulk or cut, cuz i think if i have more muscle mass, later it would be a lot easier for me to cut up. my met is pretty fast. i only gained the lil baby fat after 4 years of junk food binging lol.

Hey, honestly bro...165 at 6 foot is damn light, especially if you are 12%.........start eating, but make it clean....... meals a day, until you are comfortably full..........protein first!!!!!!! In every meal, 30-40g of protein, then everything else is fair game........
 
yeah, i think im ganna bulk, cuz i don't gain fat very easy, at least i think so. 3500 cals, 257 g pro, 350 g carb, 77 g fat how does that sound? i'll try to clean bulk also. thankx for the advice yall.
 
i would bulk get some more weight. then cut.
 
It depends on what you want really. Some say it'll make your job easier later on if you cut down now, but you know what, it has to get done either way. Either you cut now, and gain back some bodyfat anyway because it's inevitable (unless enhanced) or you bulk right now, and cut all the fat at the end. True, greater chance of losing mass later, but if you're not in this to be a professional, don't worry so much.

Do what you want. Either way, all the people here are behind you. Great information available, so take advantage of it. I'd personally bulk, but aesthetic aren't too great a concern for me anymore. Not as much as they were. Like abs? Fuck that shit. I mean, I don't wanna be tubby, but man a little softness doesn't bother me. Nor should it anyone.
