Here is the Size Surge Routine

i think i'll probably try this one when it comes time for me to find a new routine.
 
whats everyone elses opinion on this routine? I am really wanting to try something new, and I cant decided between this, max-ot, or titan training. what do you fellas think?
 
I've tried MAx-OT and Titan. I have never tried Size Surge.

Both MAx-OT and Titan are good. Titan should burn a lot of calories/fat too, it is a long, greuling, sweat filled workout.

You might wanna do Titan, then take a week off, then do Max-OT. That way you train high volume-moderate intensity since you never go to failure, rest for a week, and then hit em hard with low volume very high intensity. This should work well because you will have growth on the high volume plus your muscles will not be used to the failure training of MAx-OT. You will get a better response to it.

Just my thoughts.
 
Well MonStar1023 gave me the Max-OT routine and tried it the other day for the first time. I kinda tweeked it a bit and got the most intense filled routine i had in years. I like the 4-6 reps and the added weight that i used. Only thing i did to tweek it was use only 30 second intervals between sets and i worked 1 big bodypart and 1 small per workout which gives me a 3 day split which is perfect for me. The shortened break between sets and the upped weight really gave the workout alot of intensity which led to alot of muscle soreness the next day. The 4-6 reps also gave me a chance to concentrate alot harder on form during my sets since i didn't have to worry about 10 or 12 reps.
 
i know a guy in my gym i used to work with that used it and he got excellent results. everyone is different though but im sure enough people will respond well to this
 
i'm still undecided as to whether or not im gonna give this a whirl or go with max-ot. all i know is that my training got severely fucked up bcause my ex girlfriend had been living with me for a few weeks... and i let other things get in the way of my training:D

Ive been looking for this routine for years(lost my book), yes ive tried it 3 years ago, shot up from 148 to 162, this routine propelled me to where i am today. 205lbs currently on my 2nd cycle. Its simple, comprises of the compounds and makes sense. My lil bro tried this and made better results than me, NO bullshit, out of all the routines ive tried this has got to be my favorite one.

yeah, im starting the routine, but i dont think i can go mon, wed, fri and thats it for 4 weeks. im thinking about going one on ne off atleast. do you think i should do that, or stay strictly to the routine? i will feel like a piece of shit only lifting 3 days out of 7.
 
depends, are you and ectomorph (skinny) if so this will help, i still workout HARD 3 times a week and using the rest of the time to EAT AND REST which are even more important than lifting. Most ppl like to workout everyday or 4-5 times a week. This is all mental bro, try 3 times a week and go hard, this shit does work.
 
Is this the whole thing? The entire program is listed on that web site?
 
I'm currently 5'9" and 172.

I've been on this program for a few weeks now. My squat has gone up from 9x225 (easy) to 9x315. However, my bench has plateaued at 9x185. After the squats and deadlifts my body's pretty beat.

Any suggestions?
 
this is a really good program, i have done it a couple of times. the best results i have gotten was the summer before my senior year of high school training for football. a friend of mine suggested this workout because he got great results, had a bench press over 400 lbs as a senior in high school. supplementing with just phosphagen and running for football (sprints and stairs) i lost about 15 lbs, got very much leaner and my bench topped out at 335, about a 80 lb increase. i dont know what it was but my diet was shitty, wendys everynight at 930 but had great results, im still shocked by them, but i def. recommend this program. my friends had great results off of it too.
 
i might have a cached copy of this on my old computer...i used to save all of this shit. i will post it up tonight if i do.

He gained 18 lbs of muscle in 10 weeks, while LOSING bodyfat, NATURALLY?!

BAHAHAHA. Scam artists' claims get more outrageous by the week.
 
Is it still a good routine even if you arent on anything that mess' with your testosterone? (ie steroids, androgens) It seems to me that working a certain muscle more than once a week is a bit overboard. It takes more than 9 days for your muscles to completely recover, so that leaves doing it once a week as overdoing it. Ill stick to Max OT.

Do you have evidence for this?

I do, except it says that any appreciable muscle growth is over within 48 hours. Not 9 days.
 
email it to yourself and post that shit up on here. we always need some new training ideas.
 
Eat enough and you can gain 18 pounds in 10 weeks on any routine.

Nobody should ever say "XY routine put Z pounds of muscle on me"
It's the damn diet that puts on the pounds!

Muscles do not take 9 days to recover. If your muscles take that long then you're not doing something or some things right.
