help with fats

I guess this is just a general question, but I cant seem to get my fats ratio in line with everything else. Back to bulking, looking at a 40/40/20 split for a clean bulk. The problem is, i cant seem to keep my fats under 20% and still get my EFA's in. All the fats seem to come from the diet staples; chicken breasts, oats, lean red meats, etc etc.

Any ideas?
Do you guys count the EFA's in ur ratios?

Ratios drive me crazy so I don't even bother with them anymore. Just don't mix carbs with fat (veggies excluded) and don't eat carbs without protien. When adding good fats to your protien and low carb meals, you can usually add 0.5-1 Tbsp of healthy oil with each meal. That's just how I do it. I think your supposed to balance your omega 3's with omega 6 fatty acids anyway.
 
EFAs are counted in

You need it, simply put

Try using lean meat exclusively (chicken/tuna) if you're concerned

EFAs dont' store right away like sat/trans fat do

20 can be hard man, but you need more fat to bulk no? testosterone is produced optimally at like 25-30%
 
I hear a commonplace bulking ratio is 50%C, 30%P, 20%F.

20% should not be a problem if total caloric intake is high enough, hell, eating only 2100 cals/day I am taking in 70grs fat everyday (my ratio is 30% fat), but by upping that to bulking levels, over 3000 cals, it should be the same 70grs or more...

Stop eating industrial, processed food and your fat intake will drop
 
I get my EFa's from Fish/Flax oil. And my daily EFA's come from All natural Peanut Butter. 210 cals/ mostly Fats. So i usually have 2 tbsp 2 times a day. So 420 cals alone from ANPB. And my ratio is usually around 50%/25%25%. im doing a cutting diet right now. and those ratios do good for me, but since your bulking you will havta eat little more. I eat around 2000cals/day

lol, none of that in my diet.

Yea, i've been cutting for awhile, so i guess im just used to paying too close attention to ratios etc, workin my cals up, not trying to go from ~2000 cals/day to ~3400 cals/day in a week, workin my way up by 400 cals/day each week.
