Help! wife retaining water from topical test!

My wife, age 45 is taking prescription topical test. Lately she is retaining water.

Can I give her Anabolic Extreme PCT? I understand this could offset some of the side effects of androgens like arimidex.

Thanks!

PCT are anti estrogen so they would not help as long as water is her only side she would be best served with dandelion root.

I take it this is HRT?... and not test for competition?

I have just started myself on a course of oral test and estrogen patch for symptoms of perimenopause. As of yet, not noticed any negative sides such as water retention. But then again, I have also been drinking a lot more water.

Please let us know how she fairs.

(3b, 5a, 6a, 25R)-Spirostan-3,6-Diol, 3,4-Divanillyltetrahydrofuran, 6,7-Dyhydroxybergamottin, Bioperine it what is in the product you want to give your wife. use the internet and found out what these are and wha they will do to your wife.

I think people need to learn how to research for them self.
Off the top of my head I know 3,4divanillyltetrahydrofuran will lower shbg and free up bound test in the body. the rest O would have to look up.

I would take the advice of qt.

Oh and to clarify - I didn't put MYSELF on this HRT. I am under the care of an endocrinologist. The hormones are bio identical. Also with the input of my gynecologist.

But Need2 is DEAD ON. You gotta be an active participant. Get involved and research. Remember, it is YOUR BODY which makes it YOUR responsibility! :)

Have her write down everything she eats. I bet you will find some simple carbs. That is usually the culprit.

I am certainly no expert when it comes to women and anabolics. My knowledge is limited. But I've not heard of any sort of PCT for a woman when it comes to anabolics - PERIOD.

As I said, my experience and knowledge is limited so perhaps another woman or man who is an expert on women and anabolics can chime in here.

Bikinimon My wife has just been perscribed Hrt estrogen patch progestterone and test gel. Did you feel different and How long did it take to feel a differance after you started ? Libido has not been a issue for Dee so can't think this will improve it .how did it work for you thanks

Topical test will make you retain water.

IMO, in the case of HRT it also shouldn't be taken constantly, but more cyclically to mimic our natural cycles (two weeks on/two weeks off).

I tend to agree with BM as a constant low does will keep all hormone levels in check. I know when my mom went through the change the hot flashes etc were crazy she is just about the sweetest human to walk the earth and even she got scary. I don't think she ever went on topical test etc she got some natural Dr. to get everything in check. She is very into alternative meds and does random things like eating 1 tbsp of sunflower seeds which she says help with the hot flashes a lot. I will take a look at her stash of supplements and let you know what she is taking.

I think I follow what you are saying here but on the other hand I don't. How would it benefit me to have the hormone levels in my body plummet every two weeks and have them stay there for two weeks? I start flashing within hours of not having the estrogen. Within days I have a hard time controlling my emotions. How would this be of benefit?

Are women designed to be mental and miserable two weeks out of the month? LOL I am certain that some men might make this arguement hehehehee I've never been like that. The only time I was certifiably nutty was in the beginning and end of every pregnancy. Other than that I am on an even emotional keel when everything else (diet and sleep) are good.
Under natural conditions, a woman's hormone cycle fluctuates according to ovulation. Estrogen stays reasonably level until just before her period, then everything crashes. But I wasn't talking about estrogen levels, I was talking testosterone and I should have been more clear, I apologize, I shouldn't have said HRT.

Honestly, the only experience I've had with exogenous estrogen was when I was on BC pills and I was, literally, suicidally psychotic.

If I found a way to explain to myself that sex with my husband is ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY for my well-being (ours, of course) then perhaps I would want it more. It isn't lack of drive necessarily nw that I am on HRT. But rather my mind squelching my drive because I don't feel that I should be allowed pleasures that are not mandatory to being alive.

Any opinions?
I once heard a sex researcher say the following "With men, sex is primarily a mechanical act. You could, for all intents and purposes, cut a guys head off and his body would still have sex. With a woman, the sex is almost 100% psychological/mental. You have to seduce her brain and her body follows."

Said another way: Men need sex to feel love; Women need love to want sex.

Don't I know it Momma!

But this time it isn't him. He is loving me all day - no sex involved... This time it really IS me.

I was watching a show about couples having issues with sex one thing they did was make appointments to have sex 7 days in a row. It brought them closer and knowing they had an appointment to have sex each was doing something special because of the build up. It is worth a try.
