HELP! SKINNY FAT GUY questions!!

Ok so here it goes. I've 27, never worked out a day in life untill 4 days ago. I'm a 147 pound 5 foot 8 Ectomorph. 3 months ago I was only 130 pounds and I gained 17 pounds in 3 months by just eating a shitload of food. :taco:Which is the most weight I have ever been able to gain in my entire life. Of course I knew nothing about fat intake then, so I screwed myself and didn't watch how much grams of fat/protein/carbs/calories I was taking in. Now that I know a little more about body building, I know that I should have done a clean bulk and worked out at the same time.
My question is: I think I have to much fat on my stomach now. Should I start by Cutting down and do some cardio ab workouts and weight lifting, or should I start Clean Bulking and just do some serious ab workouts with my weight lifting? Another Question: I bought a nice shake mix/supplament or whatever you guys call it called "Re-Built Mass Super Anobolic Mass Gainer" (included a picture) for $80. If I cut back, should I still make shakes with it for breakfast and after working out?

P.S. Since I'm new I can't post any pictures, but believe me, they're pitiful! :worried: Just picture a skinny, pale, hairy guy with back and belly fat at 147 pounds. Just wanted to give you guys a good idea of what I'm workin with. LMAO

Thanks for putting up with me - Tim

I think you should just concentrate on lifting constantly with a clean diet. If you want to gain lean mass and lose body fat, take in an adequate amount of protein, moderate fats and carbs, and a few hundred calories above your maintenance level.

As for the weight gainer I don't see how you need it if you're complaining about fat.

Keep it simple dude. Aim for 200g of protein per day, start working out 5x week. That fat will go away as your body figures out what to do with the protein and the workouts. You'll build muscle & lose fat. That's the beauty of being new to working out.
