I'm a 34 year old female, 5'6.5, and weigh 175lbs. Way too much, I know. After undergoing breast augmentation (which stopped me from lifting weights due to weird sensation), playing around with the birth control shot deproprevera, and of course poor eating habits, my weight shot from 118 (my best) to 198(My heaviest).

I just recently lost 23lbs in a month by eating lean and started working out at least 3x's a week. I just started moving!

I have adderall, Clen, Phentermine (and pure Ephedra that I bought when I was in Hong Kong), at my disposal. However, I am afraid to mix pills especially not knowing what I should really use together to get the results I want (drastic weightloss). I would like to get to a realistic 128-135lbs first. Does anyone have any suggestions if I should take what I have, mix certain pills or stak others for Weightloss, appetite suppresion and energy?

I am now walking every morning 2.5 miles. Going to the gym 5x's a week at night for an hour on the Eliptical, usually 5 miles, 600Cals burned. I am sticking to a 800-1000 calorie diet, low-fat protein. I also started doing a small amount of core pilates excercises, which are hard for me since I'm so heavy and weak now.

Any help would be so much appreciated. I was going to get a trainer but I feel I have such a way to go to attain my 128lbs, that I should do it on my own at first.

Is it feasible to think I can loose 30lbs by January 5th 2009?
Any suggestions on supplements, weightloss aides or any help? I'm desperate!!!!!!!!!

Thanks so much!!!!

Welcome! I can see that you are desperate - good gracious girl. Let's back up (and I mean heavy reverse) and get you thinking about reaching your goals in a healthy manner. A couple of questions:

1. How much time did it take you to gain the weight (from the BA, BC, and your bad nutrition habits)?
2. Are you lifting weights at all with that crazy cardio you are doing?
3. What supplements are you currently taking?

First and foremost I'd like you to do some research on your maintenance calories. Check out some of the other threads from the ladies on the board and watch the diet comments. Your intake is way too low which can be just as detrimental as too many calories. Then, ask questions. Make sure you are using a program to log your food to the "t". You need to be aware of your macronutrients...

I am no expert on supplements (I'm sure someone will help you here) but with your current weight/height and your enthusiasm for working out I think you can ditch those drugs. Just a personal thought. It takes hard work, consistency, and determination to be healthy once and for all. Supplements are for later gator....other ladies who have more experience chime in - but if I were you I would focus on the basics: workouts and nutrition. Once you get those down you can add to it. Without a strong foundation you can't build a strong house.

I strongly recommend you see a trainer/coach whatever you have available. You are at the perfect place in your journey to have guidance, motivation, and accountability. By the time you get to the weight (we'll change your mind to start thinking about body fat instead) you'll have it all down, right? As a wellness coach I would recommend that you find someone you can relate to personality wise, who is reputable with clients, and has a holistic approach to wellness. You will find your results more sustainable as you work towards a lifestyle change rather than a quick fix. If you aren't up for the one on one in the gym check out trainers/coaches who provide online coaching. Just find something that works for you and go!

You will find valuable information here...check out some of the other threads (personal journals and logs) and pay particular attention to the diet details. I know others will chime in here and get you started on that healthy lifestyle (and looking good at 125lbs is a perk!).

So glad you posted!!!! Can't wait to see what you come up with - please keep us up to date. You'll love the ladies on this board and will find inspiration in their own personal stories.

Welcome!

Ironwings has given you excellent advise. That's what you really need to do. Please, lose the weight without the drugs because once you stop taking it, the weight will creep back in.
I will be more then happy to help you with your diet once you're ready. Start with a trainer, that way you wont wind up with bad habits and it will motivate you to go to the gym and workout. Good luck!

Your calories are very low, would you mind outlining your diet?

If you really want to crash diet, there are healthier ways to go about it.

Are you having a re-feed/cheat meal at least once every 7-10 days?

If not, you could be bringing your metabolism to a grinding halt.

I would focus on how you look and how much fat you have, rather than a number on the scale.

In the pics I have in my avvie and signature, I am between 140-145 lbs.

18 weeks till January @ 2 lbs a week = 36 lbs

As well, hello and welcome.

I would shift your focus to fat, rather than weight.

In all honesty, one of the best aids to fat loss I have found is learning to love yourself exactly as you are right now.

I have found that as soon as I accept exactly what is working or not working with my body, then things start to happen.

Wow! Great advice all around on this post!!!
The only thing I can add is you do need some fat in your diet. Quality fat. If will help you lean out and control your estrogen levels. Too little fat in your diet will make your body produce extra estrogen. Then means, for most ladies, you can't lose the fat in your legs, but, lower stomach.
Listen to the great advice above. There are some great resources there!
Best of luck.

First and foremost, thanks everyone for your response and advise! Much appreciated. :) After keeping track, I am eating about 1000-1200 Calories a day, plus or minus, depending on how much I work out. I went to a nutritionist and had my work-up done for my BMI, bloodwork, etc., and my doctor told me that in order for me to loose weight, I should not intake more than 800-1000 calories a day for weight/fat loss. (?)

I feel as though I am not working out to my best potential, but I can't get a trainer at the present time. I am doing a little Circut training at the gym after my cardio, but not much at start. I lift about 4lbs weigths, 3x's. 25 reps, trying to isolate bi's, tri's, etc. I am also incorporating about 45 to 60 sit-ups a day on the ball, working my core.

Your calories are very low, would you mind outlining your diet?

Here is my diet in a nutshell:

AM: 2 Eggs, 3 TBS Low Fat Cottage Cheese, Green Tea, Cofee sometime I add 4 oz of Turkey.
or
Whey Protein Shake Only, Green Tea, Cofee

Mid-Afternoon Snacks:

I usually have a handful of nuts unsalted, or turkey, or Tofu Lettuce Wraps, Tofu, or some kind of protein.

Lunch:

Shake
or
Salmon or Tuna salad mixed from a can.
Salad with Tofu
4oz Chicken

Snack: Same choices as before or I try to drink another shake.

Dinner:

I have a 4oz to 6oz Serving of Protein - Salmon, Tuna, Chicken or Tofu.
Usually eat asparagus or cucumber for side.
I have a serving of brown rice once or twice a week.

7:00: (Because I have an incredible sweet tooth) I eat sugar free jello with whipped cream, or a sugar free fruit popsicle, or just sub a shake here if I feel I need it.

If you really want to crash diet, there are healthier ways to go about it.

Please do tell - I am willing to try and would be happy to read about it!

Are you having a re-feed/cheat meal at least once every 7-10 days?

I am, usually a thin crust pizza or my fav brown rice PF Chang's dish.

If not, you could be bringing your metabolism to a grinding halt. [/B][/B]

You have far too many good people on here giving you great advice, I'm only going to mention something about metabolism:

I really question the intelligence of some nutritionists sometimes when it comes to weight loss, seriously.

Your BMR is 1,566, you can check it yourself:

BMR Calculator

What that means is, if you did NOTHING at all, all day, but lay in bed and BREATHED your body would still need 1,566 calories JUST to maintain cellular functioning.

Now, when you consistently eat BELOW your BMR losing weight becomes progressively difficult and worse, your body starts burning MUSCLE because muscle is metabolically wasteful. Eating below your BMR signals your body you are in a famine situation and it will do everything to stay alive. Reducing your metabolism by burning metabolically wasteful muscle first is the biological equivalent of throwing the excess baggage overboard. By the time your body gets to burning its fat, which are its long term emergency fuel supplies, your metabolism is totally in the bucket and by now you are starving all the time and here is where most people fall off the diet. Your body socks the extra food away as fat because you have starved yourself into a slowed metabolism and have no muscle (and probably no energy) to burn the extra calories up.

And that is why you never eat below your BMR.

Then you have to factor in day to day life, going up and down stairs, walking to the car, working out, grocery shopping, going to work, cleaning house, etc., etc., etc.

The common thinking is that if you are eating about 500 calories above your BMR, if you are maintaining an active lifestyle, you will will lose weight. Now what we give as a rule of thumb is 10 to 12 times your current body weight to lose if you are exercising regularly. That, in your case, would be 1750 to 2100.

and my doctor told me that in order for me to loose weight, I should not intake more than 800-1000 calories a day for weight/fat loss. (?)

Clearly your doctor is an incompetent boob. Get a new one.

Those aren't enough calories to keep a hamster alive, let alone give a grown human the energy needed to get through the day while sitting, let alone give the energy to work out.

I swear I heard somewhere that no normally sized, normally active adult human of either gender should ever eat less than 1200 calories a day.
