Help me pick out a suit to pull in.

Ok. Right now I have one suit. It is a Single ply champion that is quite loose. I can get down to the bar in it just the same way I could in my underwear. I want to hear some testimonials. There are a few records I plan on breaking in the next 6 months or so and if I can get a suit that will give me anything extra I'd be that much happier. These were the two I was thinking about going with:

Another single ply Champion(IPF legal), but 1-2 sizes smaller.

or

A Titan Deadlift suit.

From what I've seen they are close in price, so that is not a factor.

These are my upcoming meets:

July 13th- unsanctioned deadlift only
Sept 28th- USAPL deadlift Nationals(I have a very, very, very good shot of walking away with the national deadlift record in the Juniors 148. I should be able to beat it by 20 or so lbs raw by then.

After that I will compete in December at either a full APF meet or a Push/pull state championships. I can already beat the deadlift record in the 148 or 165 Juniors fr the state meet.
So basically, I want some opinions on what suits you feel offer the most help for the deadlift. Thanks

I have heard only good things about Titan's deadlift suit,
and I will probly get one in the fall.

Which record are you talking about, the deadlift (single lift) record of B. MOSS 451.75lbs ?

or the MEN'S JUNIOR NATIONAL RECORD of TJ HOERNER 617.25lbs ?

Good Luck with your deadlift record,
Jager

What up IRBD? I pull in a Double Champion and it seems to work well but I've never worn anything else so I have no basis for comparison.

I hear that Titan's deadlift suits are excellent just as Jagermeister pointed out. Perhaps, you should give the Titan a try and see how it goes. Good luck!

Ive pulled in a titan deadlift suit and I LOVE IT. I got about 45lbs out of it. My last deadlift suit I used was a inzer champion suit and I HATE IT. I got about 25lbs out of it. Thats not why I hate it, I just dont like what they are made of. I got rid of my champion suit and when its time to order another one im gonna get the titan one again.
IRBD if I were you I would go for the Titan one.

IRBD, go w/ titan, they supposedly blow inzer away. I pull in a champion, and i get ZERO out of it. I've pulled 360 in my suit, and without my suit, it just helps the first like 4 inches off the ground, which i usually dont have a problem with.

And also, i thought you were tired of being a 148er (i cant believed you weighed in at 141). but i guess if a national record is on the line, then movin up can wait.

I wish I could say the latter, but it will be the single lift deadlift record which is the first one you listed.

For my titan i think i did make the measurements an inch smaller im not sure. But when i got it in i did make the straps 3in shorter (i think) But really thats up to you. if you want to grow into it get them exact. if you want it tight go smaller.

Do the newer deadlift suits have the same painful compression of the testicles that the Marathon possess?
