Remington .308P, Tasco mildot SS (super sniper) 20 power, Haris swivel bipod.

Whole thing should be less than 1000 bucks and will nail the target out to 1500 meters all day long.

For practicality standpoints the 50 is much to big for mot urban environments. If you are shooting over 1500 meters then I would recommend it.

Personally, I would get a Lazzaroni custom .308 for this purpose. I got their standard .308 last year, their "War Bird" model, and it rocks. The only problem is the price of the ammo. The War Bird ammo goes for about $110 per box. It will only fire War Bird rounds. You can not substitute any other .308 round in it. It is really worth it as far as accuracy and distance goes. The bullit is traveling over 4000fps when it leaves the barrel. Check out lazzaroni.com for more specifics on the rifle. I think I spelled lazzaroni right, but if not just do a search and you will find it.
