wife's family has a house in CO and bears come rootin through the trash all the time. First time I saw it I was walkin past the door and heard someone comin up on the porch and figured it was someone tryin to sell something. Opened the door and there was a bear two feet away eatin out of the dog's food bowl.

Wow, Letto, what a plethora of encounters this week.
they often go through trash. I've seen them carrying my trash off into the woods when it's been out for garbage collection.
they HAVE gone into people's homes, but usually the garage when they leave the garage door open and the garbage inside.

lol, i see bears all the time, but can't usually get my camera fast enough. This one was just slowly walking TOWARDS my car.

From the viewpoint of your camera, he's a happy bear from the mi, just strolling down, carefree. Not the bearwhisperer, but he looks happy and laid back.
Of course I'm sure that's what all peeps say before laidback bear eats them.

my next door neighbor called me 30 minutes ago to tell me there's a bear walking up my driveway. i see them all the time.should've ran that fucker over
