Please Scroll Down to See Forums Below is it okay to take hydrochlorthiazide for water rentention ? it has a indication for edema associated with estrogen therapy and my gf has been having problems with her birth control and water retention......any one used it? 50mg twice a day for 3 days a good dosage? any harmful effects if used for this purpose?

I used HCTZ for my contest prep, the night before.... also use it when I'm holding any extra water weight. Its GREAT. I swear by it.... Much better than stuff like aldactone because it works fast! Doesnt take a while to actually kick in like the others. I love HCTZ!
