Selling is a great profession if you love what you sell and would buy it yourself. Think of it this way, if your product is good and you believe in it enough that you would buy it yourself, then you are doing your prospects a tremendous service by helping educate them on why they need your product or service. That's why I have no trouble pushing Platinum Memberships as hard as I do. Which is probably why the reps for the Abbot Labs regional sales manager who rented space in my last company's office were all smoking hot females. The doctors stayed in for them...the males at least. An ex of mine was a hot blonde and a Nexium rep who wore short skirts as business attire...never heard of her have a cancelled appointment.

FYI, I've never met a hot female with an ounce of sense who couldn't be a top seller; Men are so stupid when it comes to a hot woman.

errr, most doctors realize that they only hire attractive females and find it disgusting and ban them from their offices, at least in the Northwest. Its an insult to most and it REALLY REALLY REALLY pisses off the receptionists who make 10-15$ an hour at most. They are the gatekeepers and the nurses hate them too. They stand around waiting for a signature, no clinical experience, perhaps a degree in chemisty or biology but no experience but what some marketing plan told them to say trying to "sell" what shouldnt be sold. They suck hard, I would never take that job, Id rather sell cars.

As for sales jobs sucking, if you want to make for than ten dollars an hour! ALL JOBS ARE SALES JOBS!

Funny! I know a woman who works as a receptionist for a doctor my ex visits. She made a comment to a friend of mine about how my ex uses her "short skirts and appearance" to make sales. Well, whatever they are doing it works because my ex is retiring at 32.....and her degree was in COMMUNICATIONS! Apparently sex sells with the midwest doctors!
