hi girls,
I wana ask you if can be problem with fat loss if I don't eat enough calorii per day. Today I count what I ate and I have something around 1000-1100?{I'm 5'6" and 108 lb} I feel still as balloon, sometimes happen me that I feel dizzy I have symptom as hypoglycemii. What do you reccomended me? Maybe I eat a littel carbs {1/2 cup oatmeal, 1 piece of fruit and only vegetable such as lettuce 2-3 cup, brocoli 2 cups, cabbage 2 cup, 1 gree. peppers, 1 cup green peas and half tomatoes at day}. I feel that my body is confused, starve.

Are you trying to LOSE weight at 5'6 108lbs!!?? That sounds awful skinny to me (unless some measurment is getting messed up in a metric-US system conversion?)

If you've just started on this diet, your body will be confused (I noticed your burnout/constipation postst too)...first few weeks of a new training program/diet can be hell, especially if you've never done them before...but try adding some more food. That's really not a lot of calories, even at your weight.

you will feel dizzy on kcals that low.your are probably under weight too.building some muscle will kick start your metabolism and actually can make you leaner but you need to be eating at least 1500kcals for that to happen.

Not eating enough calories a day can DEFINITELY be a problem with fat loss. If not getting enough calories, the body will automatically lower your metabolism. Also it will start saving more of your incoming calories as fat. To help with the dizzy feeling, you should be eating small meals every 2-3 hours. Each meal should contain protein, carbs and healthy fats. You must eat enough so that you can train properly. The saying I follow is "Eat like an athlete, train like an athlete, look like an athlete." Here is a good website for training and diet: http://www.stumptuous.com/weights.html Look under Eating, Dieting 101.

That site is a great reference, but just a question on calroic intake...should you be taking in 10-13 times your current body weight or your (realistic) ideal weight for fat loss? I've heard both ways...or would that depend on how much you want to lose?
