Have any of you ever used AS????HELP PROS???

...Hey have you guys ever taken a AS, like anavar. I've been doing alot of research on it and it seems too be pretty good for a strength booster. I'm a beginner Powerlifter. I'm 17 stats are 5 8 162 lbs, bench 225 lbs, cleans 175, squat(full 90 degree) 295 lbs, and deadlifts 335 lbs. I need a strength booster on my bench before i start competing in school in Feb. Any powerlifter ever try this stuff and get good gains from it or know if it'll really work like they all say it does. Thanx appreciate the help. Also i have some other threads that i need help on for workout,excercises, and dieting if you guys can check them out too.
 
Hey bro, yes anavar is good for strength, but you're on the wrong board for good AAS info. Go to the anabolic board and you get lots more responses.:)
 
at 17 you have years and years of productive drug free training in your future. Worry about your diet and training for several more years before you worry about AS .

hey bro's i know i go too the AAS discussion boards but i was wonderin if only the BB used it. Well anavar is a strength drug and i need a booster. I know i'm too young too do any type of AS but i've researched this one for 4 months and it won't stop growth plates, it won't affect growth physically, and it says that it well help reduce BF%. SO any POWERLIFTERS ever used it what type of results ya'll get. thanx
 
Most powerlifting federations are "drug free" so you are not going to get much help on that topic here.

I have seen your other posts and you should not even think about juice. You haven't even figured out how to work out yet. If you are going to use you should at least bring you body to it's natural potential first. I bet that if I trained you and you stuck to a solid program (of working out, eating and resting) you could gain more than if you used steroids lifting the way you have been. Spend that energy that you are using looking into drugs on learning to work out. Go to meets and talk to people. Pay your dues. There is no easy way to become a monster.
 
Hey powfit, bro not too sound rude or nethin but the whole reason i've been posting diff workouts is soo people can look at them and tell me if there is somethin wrong wit them. The reason i wanna do a anavar cycle is b/c i've seen peoples strength go up a shitload but the thing is i'm not going too start a cycle of that shit until i find a good diet too be on it and i know i like the workout i'm doing. About my diet now I intake a good 2,500 calories a day 15-20% fat 35-40% carbs and 45-50% protein is what I try too get in me a day, rarely do I ever cheat it in fact I get ragged on by my boys bout how strict it is and how i dont eat like school food and i eat PB sandwhiches and a solid protein bar for lunch. So diet I know i'm doing pretty good and the fact that I'm trying as hard as I can too find a good workout b/c I can only lift 3 times a week if I wanna compete for powerlifting then I have too find a workout that I can do on Mon, Wed, Fri and I throw cardio in b/c I have a weight class I have too be in and in fact I have too drop bout 10 lbs. Soo I dunno what the fuck i'ma do b/c i'm sure when i lose the weight the minimum strength I have is gonna come off with it.
 
Well, you are on the right track. Keep digging.

My suggestions to you would be to say SCREW CUTTING WEIGHT.. At 5'8" you are to tall to be a 148r. Ideally you should be 165 or 181 and then heavier when you enter the open class. You really should not cut weight at your height and age. You don't have that much weight you can lose. You start hitting cardio and you are going to be eating muscle also.

You only need to work out 3 times per week. I have had great gains from a 8 week cycle that I only worked out 2 times per week. Really depends on the type of cycle you are doing. You can work out 3 times a week and get good gains. Are you going to be competing in all 3 lifts?
 
Powfit, see here's the thing in high school PL meets there are 2 types of lifts; a pause bench and a clean and jerk. So my main thing is too work on my bench I dont slam the weight on my chest either i bring it down let it touch my chest then throw it up I try not too bounce even when(for me) i'm doing heavy weight. Our weight classes are a lil different I see, it goes 143 then 155 then 169 then 183. If i was too stay in the 169 like i would be now I know I would place round 3rd or not even place at all b/c of two things one theres already 3 people in that class at my school and two of them are at my level and seem too go up alot easier than me doin the same workout, and the other kid is just stronger than us period. And two the other high schools we compete with all there 169 kids are pausin round 300+ b/c they've stuck with liftin without gettin injured I've had too many injuries soo I've had too quit. My max hasn't always been 225 lbs by the way this past summer before injuries i was maxin at 285 lbs weighing 180. With my injury i decided since I have too quit lifting might as well lose some weight too so when I get back i'll be a smaller weight class well it also killed my strength too the point where I can't get back up. Thanx and did you check my other posts for new workout ideas I had if you can do me that favor see what u think. And I would try and cut the cardio but I know my body and I know as soon as I cut the cardio out I'm going too put the weight back on whether I like it or not.
