Hey Ladies,

I am set to have a laparoscopy the Firday before the long weekend. I was wondering if anyone in herehas had this surgery. If so how long did you have to lay of the training for. From what I understand it is realtivly minor surgery. I am hoping to be good to go by the Tuesday after at the latest. What do you think?

I had one the first week of July.

I had mine on Wednesday, and I didn't feel like working out for at least 10 days. I was under for much longer than expected though due to unforseen complications.

When talking to my doc, he said that it was very much an individual response to surgery. He's had women going back to the gym the day after. For me, it just took longer to recover.

Well, my laparoscopy was for fertility problems... so I really can't help you there. I can't imagine it would do anything but help preseve your fertility.

I would ask my doc if I had those kinds of questions. I imagine that it has alot to do with what/where/etc.

Doc told me I can't work out for 3 weeks. But damm they gave me some good drugs. LOL Even worse is no sex for 6 weeks! I don't know how I am going to make it!
