I heard that people in colder temperature have more difficulty losing fat. Is this true?

Biologically speaking, there's no reason that should be true. Behaviorally, things like cold weather and less daylight tend to alter people's lifestyles though.

Kinda. The body will naturally want to hold a little fat as insulation in the winter but in terms of diet, cardio etc - makes no difference.

the question is twisted.

when you feel cold it may mean you are burning fat ala druing a fast, if you feel hot all the time it could mean your body is sick.

but you are overthinking things a bit much here. the truth is humans do not belong in the cold, we have no fur or blubber to protect us from cold and we can die from hypothermia in minutes if exposed to freezing temps. we evolved from the jungles of Africa. those that live in cold climates i'm not sure what to tell ya

It's kinda simple: those that are fat where it's hot struggle. And those that are lean where it's damned cold - also struggle.

But if you're looking for an excuse - forget it.

I mean its harder to want to get up and exercise in the winter I'm sure. But that's the only thing holding people back from losing weight.
