I just came off a 6 week cycle of sustanon/deca (was supposed to be 8 weeks but was diagnosed with pneumonia). I noticed alot of hair loss throughout the cycle. Is there anything that can be used to combat the hair loss? I have nolvadex on hand but didn't know if that would be effective for the hair loss.

NIOXIN- It is a shampoo and conditioner, it won't regrow hair, but it definitely stops from falling out. Nizoral is good and Propecia works too. Do a search and you will find what your are looking for.

Hi all!! New to the board!!Since were talking about hairloss......I've been on Propecia for a month now. No results so far, heard it takes several months to kick in. But, I was wondering, I heard of this new drug out called Avodart/Deutasteride. Supposedly it's better than Propecia. Avodart blocks two of the DHT components instead of the only one component that Propecia blocks. You guys must know better than me....can I just go to the dermatologist and ask for Avodart and once I get it, stop the Propecia or do I have to keep on taking the Propecia along with the Avodart? And if I get this Avodart, should this be enough, or should I take other stuff like a special shampoo, supplement or lotion? I heard Rogaine is just for the back of the head, and most of my hairloss is in the front. What should I do and take? Really confused about all these products, anything would help. I'm all ears Bros!!

yeah Avodart/dutasteride at .5 mg blocks 90% of all DHT from attacking hair follices while 1-2.5 mg of fina only block about 70%. if you take 2mg of Dut then pretty much all dht is blocked from the follicles on your head. but there is a price to be paid.......it totally kills your libido. ive havent used either........yet, but thats what i hear.

once you get Avodart (really expensive, about 100-120 for 1 months supply, most places only sell in 3 month supply), you should immediatly stop fina.

you might wanna consider doing the oz brew, but make sure to at least take your biotin, grean tea extract, and MSM (about 1-2 g daily). all availabe at vitamin shops, health stores, etc.
MSM is very important for hair, skin and nails.

rogain unfortunately doesnt do anytinig for frontal hair loss from what i know. Its for the top mostly and the back. Be carefull, once you start and use for 2 months, you gotta use it forever or else all (or most) of what you grew will fall out again.

What exactly does Nizoral do? I just got back from the dermatologists office. Wow, they're no help. Tried asking them about Avodart and they thought I was crazy. They've never heard of it!! Plus I tried to get Accutane and they gave me the big N-O!! I mean I paid $175 for 2 doctors visits with legit health problems and they cant help me with the Accutane or Avodart. WTF!!!! I'm pissed. Where can I find this stuff? Thanks again ColdCut. Tried giving u Karma but I guess I have to have at least 100 posts for the giving out Karma to count. Nizoral is a topical DHT inhibitor......althoug a very weak one. BUT, here is the kicker, I feell that it has helped me a lot. over the last month my shed has droped to 1/3 of what it was.......but I have also been taking saw palmetto, MSM, and biotin.
I dropped MSM for a few days cuz i believe it was giving me a bad medicine breath, but it promotes skin and hair growht so i gotta start taking it again.

I dont think avodart has been approved for hairloss treatment.

avodart been approved hairloss just like propecia wasnt made for hairloss. But since they both inhibit dht (albeit avodart a LOT more) avodart is used widely for hair growth. Plus it is made to inhibit 2 diff processes that cause hairlosss iirc.

oh and if you guys missed this one...THEY REDUCE LIBIDO

just like AS, just like supplements, everybody's experience is different. supposedly saw palmetto reduces dht and kills your libido.....i didnt feel a thing

Thats cuz everybody's experience is different. Most dont have sides from topicals except maybe a irritated scalp. I have NONE! but then again it always takes me 10x medication to see any results. My immune system is too strong for my own good lol!
