How do I extract painful revenge on idiot hackers trying to break into my machine? Ive got their IPs and ports logged on my firewall. What can I do? Im asking purely theoretically and hypothetically.

run a port scan on their ip's. maybe a denial of service attack. find out their isp. try using netbios to connect to their machine using default passwrods. blah blah blah.

Dude, let it go. Everyone with a little knowledge is scanning for an opening. That’s what you are seeing. Ignore it. A basic firewall is all you need and you obviously have.
