GW and Diet s1

Ok guys, my previous cycle was a success. Dropped fat like crazy. Maintained most of by muscle. Percentages of fat loss unknown.

I ran a low carb high fat and protein with refeeds every Saturday. Trained 5-6 Days with cardio after each session.

Ran 20mg split GW and EC

My question, about to do it again, long break. Should I still run a low carb high fat and protein or a lower fat medium carb high protein diet considering GW helps or body neutralize fat for energy.

Thoughts? All be running the same split

Re: GW and Diet

Honestly you dont really need to change your diet with GW. I'd personally recommend high protein med fat, low-med carbs

Re: GW and Diet

Preciate it. I'll run about 225P=900 cal
100C=400 cal
50F=450 cal

1750 cal. Maint maybe 2000-2200

It won't really change my current diet too much

With all my clients, I always say don't mess with success. If you ran a low carb/high fat/high protein along with refeeds worked well, why change it? Generally, good ratios are: 40%protein/40%fat/20%carbs. If you want to do something closer to ketogenic (evolutionary diet maybe), you can try 50%protein/40%fat/10%carbs.

That being said, stick to the split you ran last time and good luck my friend.:coffee:

Wolfpack, that's exactly what I was thinking. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Just wasn't sure if I reaped all benefits from that plan. But you're right, I guess I just needed reassurance.

200P=800
100F=900
10-15C=40-50C

Look good?

Jagsmjd....were you trying to follow a ketogenic diet? How many grams of carbs were you taking in daily?

For a keto diet ...i've read that carbs have to be less than 18g per day which should come from mostly green veggies. I've tried the keto diet with success at 65%fat/35%protein/5%carbs...brings you into ketosis faster.

I don't know your stats. What are your stats? because you're at 1750 now, which isn't high.
