I'm in disbelief that someone could actually think it's necessary to have so much firepower. What are you afraid is going to happen to you? In the unlikely event that 10 people break into your home simultaneously you're not going to win a shootout with them anyway. Please explain the reasonable, practical purpose of high capacity clips?

The right to bear arms, IMO, has everything to do with being able to defend yourself against a represive goverment - even more so than hunting - so yes...

I do have a use for it.... I whole heartitly beleive the founding fathers had the right to bear arms built in so that we could defend ourselves against other human beings..... not so we could shoot a dear.... so yeah... I need a 1 million round clip...

The case is not closed. The right to bear arms doesn't extend to every type of arms on the planet. If you want to stock up on WOMD-loaded grenade launchers you're probably gonna run into some resistance.

If the government allows me to own weapons then how about RPG launchers? Why not artillery pieces? I could use some depleted plutonium shells in those.
