Push in the magazine release button.

Rack the slide back, the round gets ejected when you slide the rack back.

shoot man, I know that and I've never even shot a handgun. You can pick that up just from movies. Coincidentally, I know about global warming because I saw the day after tomorrow. Don't pollute!

these guys are right, mines is a 22 super custom and I just pop the mag out and pull the slide back and the round pops out, believe me I know 100% for sure since I just did it to make sure my explanation was right

A 22 super custom ? WTF is that ?

Remove the magazine and and pull the slide back once and it will eject the round and rack the slide a few times and check to see that there are no more rounds in the gun.

You can tell if it's cocked by looking at the trigger - if it's forward it's cocked if it's back it's not.

On a glock? Shit I need to check a friends...because I have never notied that with the glocks. I thougth the way the firing mechanism (I've disassembled glocks before) worked, it would not do that....

Look at the trigger next time, tight to the back not cocked - pushed towards the front cocked. If I have some time (yah ok) tomorrow I'll take some photos.

Velvett is right. I have a G34.
Also, after You pull the slide and eject the round, put the magazine in, the trigger stayes cocked. To release it You would have to pull the trigger(dryfire) which is not the best solution. That is why I carry this plastic round with a little spring inside to save the firing pin. I put the magazine in with the "plastic"( I do not know the exact matching word in english, sorry) first, pull the slide which inserts it into the chamber, pull the trigger(it does not fire the round and saves the firing pin) and put the glock in my holster. That way when I draw and pull the slide that plastic round is ejected and the gun is ready to fire.
Hope this helps.
