I just read an article about a product called NitroVarin it is suposed to be one of thoughs proteins u take be4 bed and it is suposed to help u grow while sleeping now ofcorse after reading the article it seems very appealing to me but i was wondering if any1 had any actual experiance with the product or any products like it if so please post coments thanks

I hope its not a new Muscletech product ... :FRlol:

What are the ingredients, did the article tell you? If not, I would DEFINATELY STAY AWAY!!!! If they dont tell you what you are buying and putting in your body, I would not even touch the stuff....Its probably another one of the Million scams out there....Every company is trying to sell the "best, most anabolic, extreme" supplement out there with NO SIDE EFFECTS!!! Stick with the basics....

You can buy a protein mix and take at night, prob much cheaper and just as good ...

Just my .02

Keep in mind that your body naturally rapairs muscle tissue (gorws) during sleep and rest, especially in the early rem stages and 75 percent of your Growth Hormone output is produced while sleeping and your energy is restored. The primary goal when sleeping is to keep somewhat anti-catabolic during these 8-10 hours where you won't ingest additional calories. One of the best/cheapest way to do this is just to ingest a slow-digesting protein such as casein maybe with some flax to slow things down even more.

no it doesnt exactly say what is in it just talks about NPMC(nocturnal post-absorptive muscle catabolism) the article basically just explains how 70% of your body repairs over night but now that i reread it it seems to come across as more of an advertisement then anything i was just curious if anyone new anything about the suppliment or any like it it also talks about SomnaBol-PM,Night Charge, and NitroVarin thanks for the help i think i will stay away from it

most of these are amino acids. Translation = get a slow acting protein and take it before bed time. Since you wont be eating for a while you need slow digesting proteins. Filling up on this is important becuase at night is when you body grows, because HGH is released while you sleep anyway (as someone said before).

JUNK

From the small amount of information that is available on this product, I would say that it is a very expensive version of a simple combination of whey and milk proteins, with wheat protein added to create a different profile, and remember in general animal proteins tend to have higher bio availability than plant proteins!
It is true that sleep is an important time and catabolism can occur during this period. Sleep provides release of growth hormone and is a period of time when you are able to recover more efficiently. Using Milk or Caseinate based proteins late at night gives a slow release of amino acids over an extended period and you may find this useful or use a whey protein mixed in a little milk with 5-10gms of Glutamine. The stimulation of growth hormone via supplements is a fine art and you need to use specific amounts of amino acids on an empty stomach to avoid them competing for receptor sites, so it would be difficult to put into one formula. Until we know more about this’ proprietary blend’ I would suggest you try a few combinations of the above which have had real life results and will save some of your hard earned cash.

Wheat protein is like 40-50% glutamine.

I expect it is a "fast" protein, since all powders other than casein are.

This product is nothing special.

If someone could come up with a true, time-released MRP, that sustained amino acid and glucose/insulin levels for 8-10 hours, you would have something.

all u need is a blend of skim milk, whey protein(at least 60 grams) and a tablespoon of flax oil. Drink before bed.

Whey is in the system in 20min. and out in less than 2 hours. I don't know how much longer the flax will slow down the digestion.

But I'd definately go for the Calcium Casseinate. That's what I drink w/ flax before bed.

yes sry i am kinda new to it all i am working on it though lol just try to ask alot of questions if finally gettin some size now though and looking to get bigger so i ask about every product i read about to adventually learn about the stuff and actually know what i am talking about

as whey is metabolized directly by muscle nothing will slow down the absorption with the exception of dietary fiber. adding flax or any other EFA will do nothing.

This makes no sense.
