After being on the CKD for only 1 month and 4 days, my body has completely transformed and I am ready for the beach To give an update of some things I have done along the way here goes:

1. I have kept my protein and fat as high as possible.
2. I can't say that my carbs ups have been the best in the world unless pizza and chicken fingers count...lol...but I am getting plenty of carbs. The only thing I changed was the amount of carbs I am eating during the carb up phase. I dropped them down because I really dont feel like I need so much glycogen in my muscles for training. The more that is in there, the more I have to deplete before I get to some serious fat burning.

3. I haven't really taken my ALA like I am supposed to until this week and I have noticed a difference in muscle hardness. I have also increased my water intake this week as well.

4. As for training.......I have kept almost ALL of my sets in the 4-8 rep range no matter what movement I am doing. I have started to up the reps SLIGHTLY on some movements as of late.
5. I haven't missed many training days on my schedule.
6. I have started doing my cardio first thing in the AM and have already noticed a difference.
7. I have also drastically increased the frequency of my cardio sessions as it is getting close to time to show off the goods for my new girl.....lol.
8. My weight when I started was somewhere around 240 and even though I havent weighed myself lately, I am quite certain that my weight is somewhere around 220. My goal is to get down to 198-205 and hold there until the fall.
9. I have been tanning every day this week for 20 minutes and it is really helping to show off my definition as well.


I would venture to say that I have never been on a diet and training program that is this effective in my life. The workouts are intense and fun. The results are even better. I think I have even added some muscle mass.
