Actually, you know whats funny cobin, when i saw your pictures i kinda thought the same thing... your frame looks a lot like mine....
Yea.. the fat will come off like it was never there once your finished bulking... pack in on and then ditch the flab for summer and you'll be set...
I intend on bulking for 2 months again after xmas... just a lot cleaner the second time around..
Thanks

Cool, I plan on bulking this time and then cutting down to 11-12%again depending where I am at and bulking again with a different routine, then see what I am doing for summer and see if I should bulk or cut, I live in florida so its still pretty hot down here. getting cooler though. Right now for the rest of the week I am just trying to mantain where I am at and not diet as I am still alittle sick.

Cobin,
It sucks being sick doesn't it?
I'm kinda sick right now too.... My ears are aching, my throat is soar and I keep coughing up phlem and shit.... I usually just work through it and it goes away on its own...
Must be nice being in hot weather still... here in vancouver we were having killer weather until about 2 weeks ago... then somebody decided it was time to toss us in a freezer and piss all over us.... thats vancouver for you...

Yea, it does suck. i read somewhere though, that working out through the sickness will not slow down you recovery, it may actually help it.

Had to wear a coat today for the first time ever, I think its 69 degrees out, COLD. ;)

So your saying that working out when your sick helps you get better faster? Seems like it would slow it down since so much of your bodies energy would be going to recover from your training..
I wish it was 69 degrees here....

Quite a difference, but you still need a lot of work.

Don't get offended from me saying these things.

For one, your legs could use some signficant work. You should focus on squats. . . bigtime.

Second, where is the chest? You could use some major work in the upper and lower chest areas. Be sure to include plenty of inclines and dips.

Third, your arms have no shape. It is time to include plenty of dumbbell curls and french presses.

Fourth, Where are the lats? It is time to start perfoming tons of chins, barbell rows, and deadlifts.

Fifth, your abdominal wall could use some work. Where are the muscles?

At last, it appears the majority of the weight you have put on is fat. It does not seem any of the extra mass includes that much muscle. Your current diet plan is probably responsible for this. Judging from these pics you need to focus on basic compound movements.

Be sure to come up with a plan. Make a list of your weak areas and attack them. Good luck!

I dunno how true it was, but it said it wouldn't slow it down may increase the chance to get better in some cases but for the most part would be ok. I will try and dig it up.

Its nice at 69, sun is out but it has a cool breeze to it. Alot better then 90+.

I definitely agree with you, I only started doing legs this year... I know, I know, it was dumb not to do legs... but I've got my leg training on track and they should start coming around sooner or later...

Second, where is the chest? You could use some major work in the upper and lower chest areas. Be sure to include plenty of inclines and dips.

Trust me on this one, I have the most aweful chest genetics on the planet.... My chest is definitely not weak, when compared to others I know with larger chests... but you have to keep in mind my shoulder was fucked for two years so I've been very limited on what I've been able to do on chest until earlier in the year...
I currently can flat dumbell 100's, incline 90's and flat BB bench 210 for 8 reps... all with deep strict form... My chest has always been a weak spot
I'm hoping 2003 will be the year of the chest :)

Third, your arms have no shape. It is time to include plenty of dumbbell curls and french presses.
My arms have no shape because I'm a fatass in that picture... My biceps are quite small, but I have pretty decent genes in my tris... I should take a side pic next week to give a better idea..

Fourth, Where are the lats? It is time to start perfoming tons of chins, barbell rows, and deadlifts.

Just started doing deadlifts in July, barbell rows and chins recently as well... I massively neglected my back the first couple of years i worked out.. My back routines used to consist of shit like pull downs and seated rows... My back is loving this new stuff... actually it was you who convinced me to start dong bent over barbell rows a few weeks ago... I've never felt a pump in my middle back like I have been getting from the barbell rows.. should be a good addition.

Fifth, your abdominal wall could use some work. Where are the muscles?
I do have abs, as a matter of fact, now that I'm cutting they are starting.. yes starting to make an appearance... I'm still not too sure which direction i want to go with my ab work... right now I do 3 sets of decline crunches with a 25 lb plate on my chest with ultra slow negatives... I'm not sure if I want to go for the large ab look or the really trim and slim waste look... I think I'll keep doing the declines for a while and see how my abs develop.. they give me a deadly burn.

Like I said before, my bulking diet was definitely not very clean.. I estimate I gained around 5-7 lbs of LBM and a solid 15lbs of fat(i was 178 @ roughly 11% BF in august)... mainly in my back and legs which I've neglected for years... For cutting I don't think there is anything wrong with the current diet I have... I have consistantly been dropping fat and have used close to the same diet to lean up every year for last couple without any problems..
My goal isn't to be mr.Olympia.. but to sit between 190-200 solid..
I know my lats and chest really need a ton of work... and I appreciate the feedback... I'm pretty sure I'm currently on the right track... we'll see how things go.
Thanks

I forgot to mention that my entire routine right now currently focuses mainly on compound excersices...
