Got me a 555 squat last night PIC

Great job, nice work! We are about the same height and weight I', 6'3" 245, but you look heavier and thicker, I have a more linear build. How long have you been training??

That's quite a wide stance you use. Maybe the pic isn't showing a good angle though

I use a shoulder width stance for my own squats

Thanks guys! I dont know if I'll go that heavy again, just wanted to see where I was at. I normally do pretty high reps for legs which I consider MUCH harder. Easy to get psyched up for a single but try to stay motivated on rep 7 of a 20-rep set. Ug!

Intenceman, I have been training since '87. My stance is slightly wider than shoulder width, I used to train with a REAL close stance but have since changed it. Getting more outer sweep and hams out of it now

We've got a guy in the gym that weighs about 200lbs and squats almost 600lbs. He's on a local powerlifting team. Squats sumo style.

A good friend of mine weighs about 260, he squats about 740 or so, but he's always been good at squats, his legs are as big as a horse and so is his ass from doing full squats. He's a strong boy.

Agreed, high reps sets are the killer. That's all I do myself. Sets of 15-18 reps, nothing less. There is nothing like the feeling of the 15th rep on squats when you finish, legs blow up like ballons.:D
